Bet Mishpachah proudly supports local, national and international LGBT and Jewish groups. We are a founding member of Keshet Ga’avah - the World Congress of GLBTQ Jews and the Celebration of the Spirit Coalition. We are also members of the Network of Independent Jewish Communities and Havurot, the Jewish Funeral Practices Committee of Greater Washington, and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington.
Local Jewish GLBT Groups
Gayyim DC is a social group for Jewish gay/bi/trans men who live in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In Hebrew, gayyim (pronounced gay-eem) means both "proud" and "gay men."
GLOE is the Stuart Kurlander Program for Gay and Lesbian Outreach and Engagement of the DCJCC.
Nice Jewish Boys is a social network geared around gay Jewish guys in their 20s. We meet regularly for events such as happy hours, movie nights, holiday parties and more!
Nice Jewish Girls is for lesbian, bisexual, queer, and "questioning" Jewish women of the metro Washington, DC, area. Its purposes are to facilitate opportunities for local "Jewbians" to meet in person and to talk online. Wouldn't your mom be pleased??

Nehirim is a national, nondenominational organization which builds community for Jewish members of sexual and gender minorities.
World Congress of GLBT Jews holds conferences and workshops representing the interests of LGBT Jews around the world. The focus of these sessions varies from regional, national, continental, to global.
Keshet is an organization working for the full inclusion of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Jews in Jewish life. Keshet offers support, training, and resources to create a Jewish community that welcomes and affirms LGBT Jews.
