Rabbi Laurie Green, Alex Carter, and Rabbi Ben Shalva lead. Al Munzer delivers the sermon.
Music from Tach'shitim, Bet Mishpachah's choir, and cellist John Kaboff.
Martyrology/Yizkor service immediately follows at 12:30. Allan Armus and Leti Gomez lead.
Rabbi Green will lead a study session that will begin 20 minutes after the conclusion of Yizkor (starting time will likely be between 2:00 and 2:30) on "How to Cultivate God's Attributes: What a 16th Century Best Seller Can Teach You for Today." Moshe Cordevero, a famous mystic and ethicist of 16th century Safed, wrote a best seller for a popular audience. He took the Zohar (the canonical text of Jewish mysticism) and turned it into a practical manual for ethical living. Come get a taste of this beautiful book, and learn what you can do to be more like God. No background required. All are welcome.
