Bet Mishpachah offers special benefits to its members:
There is an Out-of-Town Membership category, which costs approximately one-half of the full membership
fee. Dues are approximately one-half, and all benefits of membership are retained, for those who live outside of the following
jurisdictions:
- Alexandria
- Anne Arundel
- Arlington
- Baltimore
- Calvert
- Charles
- District of Columbia
- Fairfax
- Howard
- Loudoun
- Montgomery
- Prince George's
- Prince William
The benefits of membership will not cease in the event that a member, due to age- or health-related
reasons, moves in to an assisted living facility, is otherwise limited in his/her ability to fully participate in the activities
of daily living, and/or is unable to renew his/her membership. The board will ensure that the members remain an integral
part of the Bet Mishpachah community and that the needs of that member, as a part of our community, are met under the direction
of the Board of Directors in coordination with appropriate committees and programs.
You are very important to us and no one will be denied membership due to financial constraints. Special
and confidential arrangements concerning either or both the amount of dues or the payment plan may be made by contacting the
Vice President for Membership at vpm@betmish.org.
The congregation, of course, needs your financial commitment, but equally important to our success
is your desire to participate in congregational activities and to make Bet Mishpachah as responsive to your needs as possible.
