It celebrates the diversity of these communities as well as the common bonds they all have. It puts the lie to the "religious right's" monopoly on faith and religion. Its members include organizations from, Jewish, Christian, Moslem, Hindu, Buddhist, Unitarian, Pagan, Wiccan and Earth Religions. The coalition is the successor organization to WAG/LIA and has held major interfaith services celebrating Pride week and other major GLBT occasions. It co-sponsored a series of cultural and educational seminars and discussions and is planning additional events, such as concerts and socials to improve the understanding of, an appreciation for, and a dialogue among the many faith communities and ethnic backgrounds represented.
